ATAG – Accessing the Arts Group

First event for 2019 is the 8th of May. Topics and final details to be confirmed shortly.

Accessing the Arts Group (ATAG) is a professional development group established by Accessible Arts which provides support and information to improve disability access and inclusion across NSW and the ACT.

The professional development group is for arts workers from a range of arts organisations, venues and collectives/ensembles. Members, who are each committed to improving access across the arts sector, discuss areas of interest, share best practice and support each other. Acting as a useful network for likeminded people, the focus of the group is on information sharing and collaboration.

There are generally four ATAG meetings each year, each hosted by participating members, in accessible spaces. Dates for 2019 are currently being confirmed.

Any artist or arts worker is welcome to join ATAG. If you are interested in joining the network and coming along to the next meeting, or in being featured as a case study or hosting a future meeting, please email info@aarts.net.au.

“The insightful presentations were a catalyst for conversation and the meet and greet after the talks were great. I’m looking forward to the next one!”
