Music Project Call Out
Are you an aspiring musician with a disability? 18+ and live in the Penrith Region? ‘Yes!’ Then Club Weld want to hear from you!
Club Weld has partnered with the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Penrith City Council and Synapse to create a supported music studio program for the Penrith Region.
Over 19 weeks emerging musicians with disability will collaborate with professional musicians to explore and record original music for release on CD and launched as part of International Day of People with Disability, 2016.
This exciting project kicks off in July at the Penrith Conservatorium of Music at The Joan.
To find out more about the project and how you can apply, contact: David Cretney.
Applications close 8 July. There are 9 studio places to fill and the project is looking for talent!
If you’re passionate about music and like the sound of exploring and developing your musical interests with professional musicians and other like-minded peeps, Club Weld would love to hear from you!
People with Brain injury/Brain Disorders are welcome to join, and the project would like to receive your application to participate.
