Emerge 2017 – Onion Reality

Onion Reality is an exhibition featuring the work of 15 Emerge 2017 artists who meet weekly at The Hub Studios in Seven Hills. Their focus in 2017 was to develop their practice through creative workshops in response to two Art Gallery of New South Wales exhibitions: Out of the Ordinary and A Shape of Thought by Mikala Dwyer.

The Emerge 2017 artists are: Davida Bache, Michelle Brown, Virginia Bucknell, Georgia Cranko, Rosell Flatley, Kim Graham, Lisa Hughes, Shelley Kay, Livonne Larkins, Cobie Ann Moore, Ray Morgan, Linda Ogonowski, Susan Oxenham,  Susanne Zapatero, Sri Thulin

Exhibition dates: Tuesday 27 February – Saturday 3 March
Hours:  Tuesday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: 9 – 11 Rowley Street, Seven Hills, NSW (above Ability Options)
Guided tours of the exhibition: every day at noon
Parking: limited accessible parking available (front and back of venue)

Emerge 2017 is a program of Front Up which is supported by Ability Options, the Art Gallery of New South Wales and Accessible Arts. It is funded by Ability Options, the Packer Family Foundation and Crown Resorts Foundation. The program is focused on supporting practicing artists with disability.
