Notes on the Theatre Production

Melbourne crime writer June Wright wrote six novels between 1948 and 1966. She was known as Australia’s very own Agatha Christie. Her classic murder mystery The Devil’s Caress (1952) is now coming to stage for the first time. Set in a clifftop home on a ‘fictional’ peninsula in Victoria (hmmm…I wonder where that could be!), waves crash and winds howl in a thrilling tale of doubt, doctors and dead bodies.
