Thanks to Bankstown City Council, twenty participants from the South West Sydney region took part in the Disability Awareness & the Arts training facilitated by Accessible Arts’ Jane Pollard and Claudia Chambers.

Are you an artist, arts tutor, arts administrator, community worker running an arts program or setting up a community event? Come and participate in this free practical workshop to increase your awareness about disability in a social context, barriers to participation for people with disability and developing practical strategies to use in your work Accessible Arts provides TAFE accredited Disability Awareness and Access Training for arts organisations and arts workers. This training module was developed by TAFE NSW in association with Accessible Arts. All participants will receive a TAFE transcript on completion of the training. Customised training sessions for organisations are available on a negotiable fee for service |
