 First Flight Crew (FFC) will make their first appearance for 2010 at Platform 3, Sydney’s largest hip hop festival. Platform 3 is an annual showcase event that highlights some of Australia’s best DJs, MCs, beat boxers, breakers and graffiti artists all taking place at CarriageWorks contemporary arts centre, Eveleigh.  Bad news is…Morganics is sick from colds, flu and coughing. Dan and Nina wasn’t here….Don’t know why they didn’t come, don’t ask….But anyways ….now let’s get back to this….Back to the rehearsals folks. What am i have been up to? Alright then….I’ll tell you now..of what I’ve done lately so that you know. Well guys there’s sooo much to tell ya so read this…as this will tell you so much more to offer….and there’s going to be good news coming and coming…and new announcements.  The First Flight Crew had their fifth gig at ‘Comedy Is King’ at The Westin Hotel, Martin Place, Sydney in late September 09. This event was a major fundraiser night for Down Syndrome NSW and the Crew were invited to open the evening the only way they know how – with break dancing and beat boxing.  The First Flight Crew, NSW’s first hip hop group consisting entirely of people who identify as having a disability, will perform at Comedy is King, a fundraising event for children and adults with Down Syndrome. An unforgettable evening for a very special cause.  Accessible Arts Western Sydney & Powerhouse Youth Theatre (PYT) have partnered up on the Hip Hop Project. The beginnings of this project took place last year with Club Wild which led the group to perform at The Beach Rd Hotel in Bondi.  Twelve hip hoppers have been working at Powerhouse Youth Theatre alongside Aussie B-Boy Morganics to create an original song to be performed at two of Western Sydney’s biggest Youth Week festivals, The Burbs in Blacktown & Bring It On! in Fairfield. Calling all B-Boys & B-Girls!! A two-day workshop with Hip Hop artist Morganics. Learn freestyling, beat boxing and beat production and create your own track.
