![]() 8 October 2010 ![]() Accessible Arts held a skills exchange day for Western Sydney arts centres on 27 May 2010, in response to the need to develop audiences that include people with disability at museums and galleries. ![]() The Sargents Centre is a new multi-functional disability support centre in Blacktown. Officially opened on 30 November 2009, this new facility will house several disability services that operate in the area, including the Tuesday Night Club, Pecky’s Limited, Sunshine Homes and Independent Living for the Physically Disabled. ![]() Accessible Arts Western Sydney is looking for a casual tutor to run weekly performance workshops at either Blacktown Arts Centre or Hawkesbury Regional Gallery from July to September 2008. The suitable tutor would have skills in one of the performing arts e.g. music making, movement, dance, performance, theatre making and either experience or the ![]() Jennifer Teo and Alison Richardson aka the “Western Sydney Team” have arrived at their new office. They have set up beside the cultural team at Blacktown City Council and have been welcomed with open arms. ![]() On Thursday 10 May 2007, Elvis and over one hundred others packed out Blacktown Arts Centre to celebrate the launch of Accessible Arts’ new Western Sydney Project. ![]() Accessible Arts will embark upon their exciting new venture in Western Sydney next month with the launch of the Western Sydney Project.
