Or at least you’ve always wanted to give it a go. The inter/ACT Street Dance holiday workshop will lead participants through the latest street dance moves, culminating in a performance for friends and family. ![]() The Q Theatre are wanting to put on a production in 2011 about the stories, hopes & dreams of people perceived to have a disability living in the Penrith/ Nepean region. ![]() On 4 December 2009, Fairfield City Council and Fairfield Museum & Gallery organised an event to celebrate International Day of People with Disability (official date 3 December). ![]() The Riverside Theatre run Workshops in the Arts for People with a Disability (WAPD) program offer weekly workshops in movement, music, dance and drama for people with disabilities. ![]() The Powerhouse Discovery Centre is a state-of-the-art storage and preservation facility located in Castle Hill and houses about 50,000 objects from the Powerhouse Museum collection. ![]() From April to September 2009, Accessible Arts undertook a scoping study of disability services in Western Sydney to determine their knowledge and use of arts centres in the region. The scoping study involved consulting with the disability sector through conducting a survey and compiling a database of disability service contacts in Western Sydney. ![]() I Love You by Janet Diane is one of eleven projects that received the Accessible Arts Small Grants funding as a part of Don’t DIS My ABILITY. |
