anyways it’s second week…of this rehearsals and it’s Monday of course….finished off those days….I’ll keep it short and sweet so then, that way you won’t get bored….

 First Flight Crew (FFC) will make their first appearance for 2010 at Platform 3, Sydney’s largest hip hop festival. Platform 3 is an annual showcase event that highlights some of Australia’s best DJs, MCs, beat boxers, breakers and graffiti artists all taking place at CarriageWorks contemporary arts centre, Eveleigh. Bad news is…Morganics is sick from colds, flu and coughing. Dan and Nina wasn’t here….Don’t know why they didn’t come, don’t ask….But anyways ….now let’s get back to this….Back to the rehearsals folks. What am i have been up to? Alright then….I’ll tell you now..of what I’ve done lately so that you know. Well guys there’s sooo much to tell ya so read this…as this will tell you so much more to offer….and there’s going to be good news coming and coming…and new announcements.  There has been much noise and activity across the Western Sydney region and we want to make sure everyone knows what’s been going on and what’s on offer. We would like to congratulate all arts centres that have taken on board a more inclusive approach to programming.  AFFORD and Junction Works joined together for 9 weeks of Performance in the Gallery. The group all met once a week at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery to perform improvisations, theatre exercises and games.  So you think you can dance? Or at least you’ve always wanted to give it a go. The inter/ACT Street Dance holiday workshop will lead participants through the latest street dance moves, culminating in a performance for friends and family.  The Q Theatre are wanting to put on a production in 2011 about the stories, hopes & dreams of people perceived to have a disability living in the Penrith/ Nepean region. |
 
Ana writes about her experience as a member of the First Flight Crew. Ana Nguyen is a singer, songwriter, rapper, performer, political activist and a member of the First Flight Crew. As a solo artist Ana has developed her own brand of live hip hop. She recently released her debut single Economy Sick which is available on iTunes, and is currently working on her debut album. |
