Accessible Arts provides TAFE accredited Disability Awareness and Access Training for arts organisations and arts workers. This training module was developed by TAFE NSW in association with Accessible Arts. All participants will receive a TAFE transcript on completion of the training. Customised training sessions for organisations are available on a negotiable fee for service Bankstown City Council held a day of consultations with the disability community in the local region about arts and culture.  Jennifer Teo and Alison Richardson aka the “Western Sydney Team” have arrived at their new office. They have set up beside the cultural team at Blacktown City Council and have been welcomed with open arms.  On Thursday 10 May 2007, Elvis and over one hundred others packed out Blacktown Arts Centre to celebrate the launch of Accessible Arts’ new Western Sydney Project. Blacktown Arts Centre is opening it’s newly upgraded and refurbished premises to play host to Accessible Arts as they embark upon their exciting new venture. Ana writes about her experience as a member of the First Flight Crew. Ana Nguyen is a singer, songwriter, rapper, performer, political activist and a member of the First Flight Crew. As a solo artist Ana has developed her own brand of live hip hop. She recently released her debut single Economy Sick which is available on iTunes, and is currently working on her debut album. |
