The Community Builders Funding Program is a community strengthening and capacity building program. It has funds available on an annual basis for time-limited projects in particular regions of NSW. The program is funded by the Department of Human Services NSW, Community Services.
Non-government organisations and local councils can apply for funding of $10,000 to $100,000 per annum, for between one and three years.
The Community Builders Funding Program is available in certain Local Government Areas (LGAs) including:
Metro South West
- Camden, Campbelltown, Wollondilly, Wingecarribee, Bankstown, Fairfield, Liverpool.
Metro West
- Auburn, Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Holroyd, Parramatta, Penrith, The Hills.
Applications close 10 December 2009
The funding round will open 9.00am Monday 2 November, 2009 and will close at 12.00pm Thursday 10 December, 2009.
Funding of between $10,000 and $100,000 per year per project for a maximum of up to three years is available.
All applications must be submitted online.
