The Sargents Centre is a new multi-functional disability support centre in Blacktown. Officially opened on 30 November 2009, this new facility will house several disability services that operate in the area, including the Tuesday Night Club, Pecky’s Limited, Sunshine Homes and Independent Living for the Physically Disabled.

Scoping Study looks at access to arts centres in Western Sydney

From April to September 2009, Accessible Arts undertook a scoping study of disability services in Western Sydney to determine their knowledge and use of arts centres in the region. The scoping study involved consulting with the disability sector through conducting a survey and compiling a database of disability service contacts in Western Sydney.
