POW WOW - An Arts & Disability Forum in Western Sydney

Introduction to Performance workshop with Katy Green

Members of Nepean Area Disability Organisation and AFFORD Windsor joined forces at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery for an Introduction to Performance workshop. Facilitated by Katy Green, the group explored various ways to use movement, stillness, speech and sound in performance. Within these focus areas, the participants learnt to integrate emotion, character, shape and style into their performances. By the end of the 10 weeks, the participants had established a set of weekly drama rituals, produced confidence and creativity in their performing and formed a wonderful bond.
