The music fact sheets have been prepared by performers with experience in finding and preparing gigs and building a career in music. They are written in a practical easy-to-understand style to guide you through the many issues in starting a musical career. They outline what is required to get a gig and organising your performance. Many concerns with live performances are addressed, from transportation to payment.

These fact sheets also explain how you should go about building and maintaining an interest from fans and the industry in your music, as well as different ways to gain exposure. They recommend steps for good preparation, realistically outline the process you will need to go through and help you understand what will be required of you to progress toward your goals.
