Process
We know we CAN Dance is a project by The Leisure Company, Wagga Wagga NSW. The project involved a series of six integrated dance workshops for 10-15 young people with a professional dance tutor.
Workshops will culminate in a dance performance by workshop participants at the opening of the Celebrate Ability Dance event and at the Ability Festival, Wagga Wagga, 30 November to 6 December 2009, supported by Wagga Wagga City Council.

The Leisure Company
The Leisure Company is a not-for-profit Recreation and Post School Program that links people with disabilities in mainstream recreation, work and life skills pursuits.Firstly the Recreation Service aims to access and develop integrated recreation opportunities for people with disabilities in Wagga Wagga using existing community programs and facilities. By providing these opportunities people are able to make informed choices regarding their interests which inturn enriches their quality of life. The Recreation Service supports 100 people with a wait list.The second program we offer Post School Program assists 21 participants in a flexible program which provides opportunities for people who access this innovative program to achieve independence and pre-vocational skills to their full capacity.
