Art Day South
Inspired by Spaghetti Western master Sergio Leone, and films such as A Fistful of Dollars and Django, Headcase is black humour at its dark and irreverent best … an artfully told tale of America’s wild wild west, where looking a person in the eye can mean the difference between life, and…a severed ear.
“He was carrying the case, it started to rain, he had a hat on, she said she didn’t like him
and somebody got a bullet.
Cut off her ear, she went down, got shot, the gun went off, went bang.
It stopped raining and it was sunny again.
It’s not real but it goes boom, it makes me happy.”
