Open Caption Film Screenings in Cronulla

Open Caption Film Screenings

GU Film House Cronulla recently partnered with Vinnies NSW Ability Links Sutherland Shire to trial open caption screenings for the Deaf and hard of hearing community. After positive feedback from audiences about their screenings of The Mummy and Dunkirk, the cinema will now host an open caption screening once a fortnight as a regular service to the community.

Starting on Sunday 27 August, a new release film will be screened as an open caption screening every second Sunday at 11.00am. The screenings are valuable for the Deaf and hard of hearing community, however anyone can attend. Tickets are priced from just $12.

The Deaf Society will have a pop up information stand to answer questions and provide information about the NDIS, at the first screening on Sunday 27 August.

Cronulla is so easy to get to by car, bus or train and with beautiful beaches and amazing cafes and restaurants.

Upcoming movies include:

Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets – Sunday 27 August Book your tickets.
