Up the garden path: The Biennale at the Botanic Gardens

24/06/2010 - Media Release

Auslan & Audio Described tours

The third, and final, accessible tour event of the 17th Biennale of Sydney takes place in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens on Sunday 11th July.  Meet at the Palace Garden Gate on Macquarie Street, take a guided tour of the Vittoria Biennale ArtWalk and discover three iconic works on the theme of threatened and threatening nature.

The Biennale of Sydney, Australia's largest and most exciting visual arts event, is renowned for showcasing the freshest and most provocative contemporary art from Australia and the world in Sydney's leading art venues and public sites.  The first two accessible events at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Cockatoo Island, known as Lord Mayor Community Access Days, were well received with more patrons attending each time.

Lord Mayor Community Access Days are presented by the Biennale of Sydney and the City of Sydney, with assistance from Accessible Arts.

This is a free event but bookings are essential.

Bookings can be made via email at access@biennaleofsydney.com.au or by phone on 8484 8721.
