Truth in Art Awards: People, Parks & Climate Change
Competition : location : Deadline 2 Apr 10 : Truth in Art competition theme "People, Parks & Climate Change".
The Truth in Art Awards are challenging artists from around the world to interpret how people feel when they encounter nature first hand in parks, and to explore the effect of Climate Change on the connection between people and nature. The parks include both land and water based environments.
Works will be displayed and winners announced at the International Healthy Parks Healthy People Congress in April 2010.
There are two categories: Youth (under 16) and Open
- Open Category Prizes (AU$): $5000 First Prize; $2000 Second Prize: $1000 Third Prize
- Youth Category Prizes (AU$): $500 to artist and $500 to their school First Prize; $300 to artist and $300 their school Second Prize; $200 to artist and $200 to their school Third Prize
Judged by Janet Holmes à Court AC, Guy Abrahams and Dennis Goldner.
When: Closing date 2nd April.
