Workshop : Hurstville : 12 March 10 : Following on from last year’s sell-out event, M&G NSW presents Access to Funding, an invaluable workshop delivering the skills and specialist knowledge to make accessing funds a reality.

Successfully obtaining funds for museums and galleries requires knowledge and creativity. Join speakers from local and state organisations as they offer invaluable insight into funding programs, and practical advice on how to write a winning grant application.

Speakers include representatives from:

  • Arts NSW
  • National Library of Australia Community Heritage Grants
  • Maritime Museums of Australia Project Support Scheme
  • Volunteer Initiated Museum (VIM) grants
  • Louise Walsh, Artsupport Australia, who will give the keynote address on fostering relationships between the cultural and philanthropic sectors
Registration essential as places are limited.

Where: Hurstville City Library, Cnr Queens Rd & Dora Sts, and Hurstville Museum & Gallery, 14 Macmahon St, Hurstville

Who: A must for community managed museums, galleries and cultural institutions.

Cost: $55 full price / $45 conc. (student, volunteer, Standards Program participants) / 3 for $100 special offer for volunteer museums.
