Anthony Mannix and the Loop Orchestra
Performance / Exhibition : Rozelle : 3 Dec 09 : A very special and rare performance as part of the opening of an exhibition by Australian Art Brut maker Anthony Mannix accompanied by the Loop Orchestra.
The performance will be a collaborative performance with Anthony Mannix doing live readings from new writings called The Being Of Art accompanied by a live tape loop soundscape by longtime collaborators with Anthony, The Loop Orchestra.
The exhibition will involve sculptures and drawings. Anthony has been described as the most Art Brut of Australian Art Brut (Outsider Art) artists. Art Brut is the truest artistic expression, raw, free, spiritual and very human. It is a very special experience to journey through the world of Anthony Mannix.
This will be a free event as is the entry to the exhibition.
When: Opening night Thursday, 3 December 2009 from 6:00pm. Live performance at 7:00pm.
