The annual Sydney Writers’ Festival will take place from 17 May to 23 May 2010 at Pier 4, Sydney Theatre, Walsh Bay as well as at other accessible venues such as City Recital Hall and Sydney Opera House.
Accessible Arts has partnered with the Sydney Writers’ Festival to provide an Auslan interpreter for special event, International Voices on Saturday 23 May at 7:00pm.News
Accessing the Sydney Writers Festival 2008

Accessible Arts worked with the Sydney Writers Festival for the first time in 2008, to improve access to the festival for audiences and writers with disabilities. Accessible Arts delivered disability awareness training to volunteers and encouraged the sourcing of accessible buses for the transport. Venue access information was included on the website and on the back page of the program for the first time. The program included writers with disabilities and programs that explored disability issues.
