Courses : Paddington : Autumn 09 : College of Fine Arts UNSW offers the opportunity to learn more about arts and design by joining their Continuing program courses.
Comprehensive and varied, the Autumn 09 program offers weekday evenings and Saturday classes.
Highlights include:
- Sound design workshop "Close Listening In Fading Light", especially devised in relation to ideas in the concurrent Ivan Dougherty Gallery exhibition "Figuring Landscapes".
- Web Design course on Friday evenings. There is also a Website Marketing For Artists course.
- Letterpress and Photoshop are offered in both beginner and advanced modes.
- Art theory courses in art galleries on Saturdays
- 6 x printmaking courses
- 2 x art theory courses
- 8 x media arts courses
- 4 x fine arts courses
- 7 x object design courses
When: Courses run until 10 June. Application deadlines: Friday 27 March for classes starting in April and Wednesday April 15 for classes starting from May. Late applications will be accepted after the deadline if there are vacancies in the courses.
Where: College of Fine Arts, UNSW Paddington Campus Greens Rd (cnr Oxford St), Paddington (opposite Victoria Barracks).
