Audio Description Tour for people who are blind or visually impaired at the Art Gallery of New South Wales (1 hour).

Audio description (AD) in the gallery is where additional commentary is provided to narrate the visual elements of artworks being discussed in a tour. Designed primarily for the benefit of people who are blind or vision impaired, audio description guides the listener with concise, objective descriptions of the subject of the artwork, surface qualities, brush marks, detailed information on the colours and provides a detailed description of the gallery space where the artworks are exhibited.

Bookings essential.

When: Sunday 5th April 2009, 11:00am. Meet at the information desk.
