Artists Talks and Accessible Tours at AART.BOXX 08
Now in its third year, AART.BOXX is extending its public programs to link audiences, access and professional development to the AART.BOXX experience. This will include artist talks and accessible exhibition tours.
Artist Talks
Based on the popularity of last years AART.BOXX artist talks, this event will once again be featured as part of AART.BOXX 08. Artist talks will be held at Tin Sheds Gallery on Saturday 18 October from 12 pm to 1pm. This is an opportunity to meet some of the AART.BOXX artists, gain insight into their art making processes and exchange ideas. Artists contributing to these talks include Queensland based artist and creator of Laser Beak Man, Tim Sharp and Sydney based ceramic artist, Honey Crawford. This is a free event however booking is essential as places are limited. Accessible Tours
Accessible tours are tailored to meet the access needs of each group who wish to book a tour. During tours, the AART.BOXX exhibition will be used as a spring-board to discuss ideas and exhibition content and also provide an opportunity to respond to the exhibition through art making within the gallery space.
