Vibrant new arts event in Sydney creates opportunities for all
BAKEHOUSE 13-17 OCT 2008
Bakehouse is a new inclusive arts festival that provides creative opportunities for people of all abilities. The program for Bakehouse has now been revealed.
“This event will create opportunities for people of all abilities, that embrace difference, create change and fill the gap that exists between the arts and people with disabilities,” Alison explains. “It’s an opportunity for people to do something different and get involved in an exciting series of workshops at Sydney’s bold new arts centre, CarriageWorks.”
A series of workshops will take place including filmmaking, stilt walking, break dancing, visual and physical theatre, art exhibitions, film nights and more.
Bakehouse has been conceived by Alison Richardson, Artistic Director of sliced bread attraction, in partnership with CarriageWorks and the City of Sydney.
