Sundowner touring performances
Performance : Statewide : 5 Mar-4 June 2013 : A live theatre/dance performance that reflects the experiences and frustrations of younger onset dementia is set to tour NSW.
The result of years of research, community engagement and creative development by KAGE theatre and the Alzheimer’s community, Sundowner combines dance, drama and original composition. Drawing on the personal experience of those living with dementia and their carers, the performance presents challenging subject matter in an accessible and engaging way.
Toured by Performing Lines for Road Work, with the support of the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body, through the national performing arts touring program and Playing Australia.
