Accessing the Arts Group meeting

We recently held the first Accessing the Arts Group (ATAG) meeting of 2017, hosted by the Australia Council for the Arts.

ATAG is a professional development group for arts and cultural workers committed to improving access in the arts sector through collaboration and the sharing of information and best practice.

The group discussed practical issues around accessible information such as  how to access a document’s readability level in word, and issues and ideas around Disability Action Plans

Morwenna Collett, CEO here at Accessible Arts said: “The meeting was a great chance to network, start discussions and share information.”

Remaining meetings for 2017 will be held on Thursday 17 August and Thursday 16 November from 8.30-10am (venue tbc). Read more about ATAG and sign up to come to the next session.
