Our Art Project
Event : Parramatta : 15 Nov 11 : A year of hard work and creative vision has culminated in a wonderful exhibition of sculpture, art, video installation and other unique creations by emerging artists with a disability.
In 2010, Sunnyfield’s DOP in Parramatta employed four local professional artists, with funds received from the local council, Parramatta Leagues Club, FedEx and NRMA, to workshop ideas and concepts and assist people with a disability to express themselves in any medium they chose.
The remarkable process of this project has been documented and will be produced into a documentary.
Amplify the Arts
Sunnyfield’s Day Options Program in Parramatta created a unique video installation showcasing the hopes and dreams of people with a disability that they want to share with their Community. This video installation has everything; laughs, tears, thoughtful moments and leaves you thinking about the images, long after you’ve left the exhibition.
