Focus on access at heritage sites

Accessible Arts and Museums & Galleries NSW (M&G NSW) will present a one day seminar on 28 November 2011 to promote improved access to heritage listed buildings for audiences, staff and arts professionals with disabilities.

Platform to Heritage: Accessible Arts in Heritage Sites will draw on disability and heritage specialists to outline the requirements and challenges facing audiences and arts professionals with disabilities in heritage buildings.

Innovative solutions to heritage challenges will be showcased through a range of case studies. Participants will learn where to go for advice and what options are available to begin or continue the process of creating disability access in and around heritage listed buildings.
