Framing Gravity | Art Exchange
Public Program : Sydney : 21 Oct 11 : Presented by Accessible Arts as part of AART.BOXX 2011, this event facilitates a space for audiences and artists to meet and explore the works in the exhibition Framing Gravity.
This program builds on the popularity of the artist talks programs held at previous AART.BOXX exhibitions.
Artists will discuss their ideas and making processes in an afternoon of artistic exchange with audiences. Each of the presenters have been encouraged to introduce their practice in a manner of their own choosing, whist fostering a sense of mutual learning.
Artists participating in this event include Georgia Cranko, Clarrice Collien, Kevin Meagher and Scott Trevelyan.
AART.BOXX is a national survey exhibition of current visual arts practices by Australian artists with disability. The exhibition aims to extend and challenge discourses within contemporary art by highlighting art practices informed by cultures of disability.
