Accessible Arts / arts + disability NSW

The program provides access audiences with the opportunity to engage with a variety of visual arts media including pencils, crayons, paint, and craft supplies, in art classes that encourage active participation and mobility.

The classes have a capacity of 5–10 participants and are run by Rebecca Gentz, a local artist with qualifications in Fine Art majoring in art therapy, a Dip. Counselling and Cert III in Disability work.

Classes are run from the Kid’s Art Studio at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.

When: First Monday of the month from 10:00am – 11:30am. Commencing Monday 1 August 2011.

Where: Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, 1 Casula Road, Casula NSW

Who: For individuals living with mild to moderate intellectual and physical disabilities.

Cost: $5 per person (carers are free)
