The program is designed to build self confidence, promote well being, increase skills in performing & self expression.

Using film, movement & theatre Beyond ABBA will focus on the theme Invisibility that was inspired by a piece of writing, from writer, actress and International Day for People with a Disability ambassador, Audrey O’Connor.

Working alongside professional arts workers participants will explore what it means to feel “invisible”, to be not seen or heard & have no voice or say.  Also explored will be the alternative, so what it’s like to be in the spotlight, the public eye, the notion of celebrity & how that is something to behold in our society.

• Term 2 - Wednesday 27 April - Friday 1 July 2011 (10 weeks)
• Term 3 - Wednesday 20 July - Friday 23 September 2011 (10 weeks)
• Term 4 – Wednesday 12 October - Friday 9 Dec 2011 (9 weeks)
• Performance date:  Wednesday 23 November 2011

Workshop times: Wednesdays 10-11.30 am & 12- 1.30pm, Thursdays 10 -11.30 am & 12-1.30pm, Fridays 10 -11.30 am & 12-1.30pm.

Cost: $140/term.  Term 4 $126. Paid upfront prior to workshops commencing
