Arts & Disability Forum

On Wednesday 15 October, Accessible Arts presented an Arts & Disability Forum in Western Sydney focusing on accessible and inclusive arts programs and practices.  The forum presented a fantastic cross-sector learning experience and networking opportunity for people working in the arts and/or disability sector as well as local government.

Beginning with a morning of dynamic presentations from guest speakers Steve Lee (Bankstown Day Options), Claudia Chidiac (Powerhouse Youth Theatre) and Naomi McCarthy (Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest).  Followed by a lively panel discussion with key members from the Western Sydney arts, disability & local council sectors.
