Conference Venue and Access Information

• All conference activities will take place at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
• Volunteers will be stationed throughout the conference venue to offer directions and information.
• The registration desk will be to the right of the foyer in the main entrance.

There is wheelchair access into the Conservatorium of Music via the main entrance on the corner of Bridge and Macquarie Streets. Inside there are lifts for wheelchair access to all floors.

Accessible toilet facilities for visitors are located on levels 1 and 3.

There is ramp access on level 2 to the café which is available as a rest spot for carers. There is a second rest area in the room to the left of the West Recital Hall level 3.

All venues are wheelchair accessible. Please ensure that you list your access requirements e.g., wheelchair accessible seating, hearing loops or Auslan interpretation on your registration information under additional requirements for our information and conference arrangements. There is one public telephone located on Level 1 to your left from the main entrance, through the glass walk way to the Verbrugghen Hall South Stalls and down the corridor to the left.

Public Transport
Many Sydney Buses travel along both Macquarie and Bridge Streets. Circular Quay Train Station is a 20 minute walk away on a steep hill and is an accessible station. Circular Quay is also a central hub for Sydney Buses and Ferries. For further access information about public transport, please call 131 500 or go to www.131500.com.au.

Taxis
Taxis can be regularly hailed on Macquarie and Bridge Streets. The closest taxi rank is on the corner of Bridge and Phillip Streets.

Parking
There are two accessible car spaces available in the Conservatorium of Music car park that can be accessed via a steep driveway in the turning circle on the corner of Bridge and Macquarie Streets. To book these spaces, please contact the Conservatorium on 9351 1203. Pedestrian access to the Conservatorium of Music building from the car park is on level two via a long (approximately 200 metre) corridor that takes you to ramp access to level two venues. Access to venues on other floors is via a lift.

Pick up and drop off
There is a large turning circle on Macquarie Street that allows a safe 5 minute pick up and drop off location at the front of the Conservatorium. This pick up and drop off location is a flat 20 metre walk to the front (automatic door) entrance to the building.
